So there I was, sick at home with nothing to do besides scroll, worry, and scroll some more, when I thought, wouldn’t this be a perfect time to take a mental break and draw some requests?
Previously, I’ve put out the call in an actual newsletter, but now that Substack Notes is moving and shaking, I posted there instead…
…and followed up the next day.
And got a lot of replies! I did the best I could (I was sick!), and to make it simple, I drew on Post-its. There’s something about the Post-it that I love. It’s a small frame, and it’s forgiving. If I make a mistake, there’s always another Post-it! Plus, it lends itself to spontaneity and imperfection. I mean, it’s a Post-it!
For all of you who didn’t catch it on Notes, or did and want one last chuckle, here are a selection of what I drew (plus, a few bonus never-before-seen Post-its because, why not.) Also, I am feeling better now. Thanks for all the well wishes.
Enjoy!

Thank you for drawing “Seeing a 🫎 from a Really Safe Distance”! I love it!
If only we could disengage our minds to take a break ala robot-also quite handy to have a built in foot rest.
