It’s happening! It’s here! It’s Summer Steinberg! The school year is over, and I’m free! You know what that means.
I’ll lie to myself that I’ll get more things done with my extra time. (I won’t.) But I will explore new interesting avenues of creativity.
So, to celebrate this monumental Summer Steinberg event, I took a stroll yesterday to capture the first day of summer in NYC. Here’s what I saw. Sort of.
Every dog actually stopped to smell this muffin wrapper. Every. Single. Dog.
I’m not a beach person, FYI.
Me learning from my mistakes.
Pasta on my mind.
Dance like no one is watching. But stop when they are.
There is someone who has no idea why I was taking a picture of a hose.
And there you have it. This is what I did with my first day off. Set the bar low and stay there, is what I always say.
I hope you all have a wonderful summer and that you find some time to do something simply because you want to do it.
Thanks for reading,
-Summer Steinberg
These are great! I needed to see these cheerful, little cartoons today. Thank you for sharing!
When you always set the bar low, everything is better than you expected. It’s the best approach to life.
