Not so long ago, I realized that I could create simple animations in Procreate, my iPad digital drawing program. As a child, my dream was to be a Disney animator. I’d draw The Genie from Aladdin, Simba from the Lion King, and I’m pretty sure that visceral dinosaur scene from
Love your cartoons. I hope you have more time to animate. My husband worked in an office next to cartoon animators, who were drawing cartoons for a movie. It was one of the last movies with hand drawn cartoons. I remember the noise as they flipped through the drawings on semi-transparent paper, to see if the animation worked.
This is so lovely. I tried animation on Procreate but was frustrated by the demands of frame by frame. Nice to see how you have done with with relatively few frames!
I enjoyed this a lot, especially the falling one - so clever!
I find that I have time for what I make time for. Recently that’s been reading a book of short stories and darning socks. I take pleasure in and am eager to enjoy the time I do both. 😊
Animated by silly invention ideas, noticing small things like how water moves and bigger things like how trees branch. Plus laughter, that’s a big animator.

Animation is so time consuming. I did my best to figure out how to get the most out of the least amount of work. A general mode of operation for me...

That's awesome! And it reminds me that I need to get back to reading short stories. It's been a while...
I love the animations! So simple to make me smile.
A movie after school? I work at work all day and rarely have tv time until late in the day.
What do I make time for that I have no time to do? Hmm. Whatever I can cram into non-working hours. It usually starts with tea.
Just discovered this. So great!
Thank you! I try
Well this is fun!
