You might be interested in this little thing I wrote a while back:
“The promise of the internet was that every writer (or artist, or performer) would find their audience, just as every person could find their “community.” Flash-forward to a dystopically addictive, engagement-driven-algorithm curated, warscape of tribalized and weaponized online echo-bubbles for profit.”
I've been reading your posts for almost 2 months now (I love them, they're (their there?!??) Great!) But not sure whyI always thought u where (again were?!)a female.
Was trying to figure out who was in the drawing cuz it *couldn't possibly* be you. Well who knew. Keep it up
I think there is a delicate line between the "need", as in earning money from what one does, and "do one's best", like when you want to stick to your true inspiration and style. I suppose time (time!) will erase, or maybe move one from one side of this line to the other.
The thing, as other artists have pointed out, profusely and elegantly before, is to keep going.
* I am pretty sure something quite good can come out if you ask your pupils to suggest themes, or points of view for you to consider!
What a wonderful read. Thank you for putting into words what a lot of artists go through. Loved the inspiration and process bits! Loving the cartoons too :).

Summer says goodbye to us I think ! The earth turns her back and we have no choice but to rock on, knowing she’ll be back🤘🏽
I like this take
Hope you and Nishant meet next in Vancouver and do something together here! I’ve done a sketching workshop with him here that was really fun.
