With just a paper and pencil with rudimentary skills so much can be communicated. Appreciate the conceptualization.

Wow did you just pull that straight out of my monkey mind? 🙈 Spot on illustrations of success. I resonated with all forms from experience, in my mind or both…here’s to keepin’ on climbing that ever shape changin’ mountain ⛰️ (imagine faint sounds of yodeling in the distance 😜) Thanks for the thoughtful chuckles 🫶🏼

This is truly amazing! I loved the collaboration cartoon, where everyone is smiling and helping each other! This makes hard work way less hard and more rewarding.

I found you today, and gone through several ofypur posts. I am at the bottom of that mountain looking at it in awe.

Very funny. Just love your work. The images did not load. I have to click on each square with a question mark, close it and then click on the next square.

I appreciate it, and sorry about that. I don’t know what happened. I’m an English major.

Nice! Missing Sisyphus on that precarious triangle

I actually thought about drawing a Sisyphus one, but I challenged myself not to rely on that old trope, which I often do, again and again and again and

I really really love this! I’m just at the very tipitty end of my writing the first draft of my first novel and so many of these resonate with me. But today I’m defining my own success, and I’m feeling good about where I am.

Thanks again for the brilliant visuals!

Thank you, and congrats on just about getting to the end of your first draft! That's a big deal. Any advice for those of us who only dream of even writing the first draft of a novel?

Ooh! I’m terrible at taking advice, but I’m learning how to give it when asked.

I’d say…in my experience. Surround yourself with people who believe in you. Tell people about what you’re working on. Let people be excited with you.

Write something you love. I adore my characters and am so excited to be spending time with them…which is maybe why I’m having a hard time writing the ending…I’m not ready to say goodbye. But…after writing this advice and contemplating my process I think I *am* ready to let them meet my friends and editors.

I appreciate you asking! It helped me sort something out!

Thank you for that! A lot to think about. Looking forward to hearing about your second draft! And happy to be able to help in your saying goodbye (for now) to your characters.

Could you conceptualize this hard work/success mountain someday(when you have a lapse in consciousness)for someone horizontal most of the day looking at her orthopedic shoes? I own my condo and sometimes I wish I was renter. So be careful what you wish for.

Hmm I’m on it!

I like how versatile the sharing options for this are, with both lazy and workaholics alike. And the mountain with work and success intermingled.
