Adore these! Self-reflection is particularly clever.

I am rubbish at shapes but excel in snarky captions. For example, your drawing titled NAP? My title is a line from Hilary Mantel, “The Mirror and the Light”: If you can’t tell the truth at a beheading, when can you?” My snark barrel overfloweth in times like these. Thank god for folks like you.

I’d rather see your original, if simple. drawing than an AI generated image!

Love it! I teach this to kids sometimes. Everything can be brought back to basic shapes!

The nap and the Deja Vu were soo un-normal (if that's even a word). Such joy reading this post during a work break :)

Love “un-normal.” And creating things for people to “read during a work break” is totally my vibe!

Awesome. But, what are the rules regarding shapes? What is the limit of a simple one? For instance, is an hexagon or a trapeze breaking the law?

These are all good questions.

I don’t draw, she muttered, and then pulled out a piece of paper and started drawing something that may, much to her surprise, not be *all that* bad?

I don’t think we can post images through comments (I think you can post images on Thread posts, though I’m not 100% sure).

I’ll gather up the nerve & share my drawing attempts on Notes.

I can’t wait to see what you drew! I opened in up in notes, you can share there.

Rethink NOTHING. I’d truly love to just see a triangle and a rectangle having coffee. I went to the Philip Guston exhibit in Boston which was postponed for 2 years because he had paintings with Klan figures. They literally had a warning at the beginning of the exhibit that there was some disturbing material. It was ridiculous imho. As would be rethinking your playfulness. There’s always gonna be a crank like me lurking!

Ok unrethinking, and thank you!
